These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.devwithdijah.com ("Site") and all frontend development services ("Services") provided by Khadijah Kabir ("I", "me", "my"), including collaborations with third-party UI/UX designers.
By accessing the Site or engaging my Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. Definitions
- Client: The individual or organization engaging my services.
- Services: Frontend development, website/web app building, UI implementation, and related consulting.
- Design Partner: An independent UI/UX designer collaborating on your project.
- Deliverables: All code, files, and assets provided upon project completion.
- Agreement: The mutually agreed project proposal, scope, or statement of work.
2. Services Offered
I provide frontend development services, including but not limited to:
- Custom website and web application development
- UI implementation from designs (Figma, XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Website maintenance and accessibility audits
- Headless CMS, e-commerce, and performance optimization
Collaboration with Design Partners may be included for design services. Each project's scope will be detailed in a separate agreement.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide timely access to all necessary materials (content, branding, API access, etc.)
- Give prompt feedback and approvals
- Ensure provided materials do not infringe third-party rights
Delays in these responsibilities may result in project delays for which I am not liable.
4. UI/UX Design Collaboration
- Design Partners are independent contractors; their services are subject to their own terms.
- I facilitate collaboration but am not liable for Design Partner deliverables unless specified.
- My responsibility is for frontend development based on finalized designs.
5. Fees, Payment Methods, and Currencies
- Fees and payment schedules are defined in your project agreement.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfer, Paystack, Flutterwave, Wise.
- Accepted Currencies: NGN, USD, GBP, EUR.
- Payment methods and currency will be confirmed during onboarding.
- A deposit may be required before work commences. Late payments may incur interest or service suspension.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- Client Content: You retain rights to all materials you provide.
- Developed Work: Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the custom frontend code and deliverables. I retain the right to showcase the work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
- Pre-existing IP & Tools: Any libraries or code I use remain my property, licensed for use only as part of the final product.
- Design Partner IP: Governed by the designer’s separate agreement with you.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep non-public information confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
8. Warranties and Disclaimers
- Services are delivered professionally and workmanlike.
- The Site and Services are provided "AS IS" without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- I cannot guarantee the Site or Services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
- My total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific project in the preceding six (6) months.
- I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Term and Termination
- Terms remain effective until terminated.
- Either party may terminate a project for material breach with written notice and a reasonable cure period (typically 15–30 days).
- Upon termination, all services performed to date must be paid for.
- Certain clauses (IP, confidentiality, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by Nigerian law unless otherwise specified.
- Disputes will first be resolved amicably; if unresolved, they are subject to Nigerian courts unless agreed otherwise.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages, government actions).
13. Changes to Terms
I may modify these Terms at any time. The latest version is always posted here. Continued use of the Site or Services means acceptance of the updated Terms.
