Payment Terms & Process

I aim to make the payment process as smooth and clear as your project development. Here’s what you can typically expect:

Project Confirmation & Deposit:

For most new projects (especially those in the 'Growth Site,' 'Pro Business Site,' 'UI/UX Standard,' and 'UI/UX Premium' tiers, or any custom-quoted work), a deposit of 30-50% of the total project fee is typically required to secure your project in my schedule and initiate work. This will be clearly outlined in your project proposal or agreement.

For smaller 'Starter Site,' 'UI/UX Essentials,' or Ad-Hoc Support tasks, payment terms may vary and will be specified upfront, potentially requiring full payment in advance.

Milestone-Based Payments:

For larger or longer-term projects, payments are often structured around key project milestones. This ensures you see progress before making subsequent payments. A common structure could be:

  • Initial Deposit (e.g., 40%)
  • Mid-Project Milestone (e.g., 30% upon completion of a key phase like design approval or core feature development)
  • Final Payment (e.g., 30% upon project completion, before final delivery of all assets/launch)

The specific milestones and payment percentages will be mutually agreed upon and detailed in your project proposal.

Support & Retainer Payments:

Monthly support retainers ('Ad-Hoc Assist,' 'Growth Retainer,' 'Proactive Care') are typically invoiced at the beginning of each service month and are payable in advance to secure service hours for that period.

Accepted Payment Methods:

I primarily accept payments via:

  • Direct Bank Transfer (details will be provided on the invoice - facilitated by Geegpay for international transfers if preferred by client).
  • Secure Online Card Payments (processed through Paystack, linked from my website or invoice).

Currency Options:

Clients in Nigeria will be invoiced and can pay in NGN (₦).

International clients will typically be invoiced in USD ($). Payments in EUR (€) can also be accommodated and will be invoiced accordingly. My website allows you to view tier pricing in these currencies.

Invoicing:

You will receive a professional, detailed invoice for all services rendered, clearly stating the work done, the amount due, and payment instructions.

Late Payments:

Information regarding late payment fees or project holds due to non-payment will be outlined in the project agreement or Terms & Conditions. Prompt payment ensures your project stays on track!

Please feel free to discuss any of these terms if you have specific requirements. My goal is to have a clear and mutually agreeable financial arrangement.

Key Terms for Our Collaboration

To ensure a smooth and successful project for both of us, here’s a brief overview of some key terms. Please note that this is a summary, and full details are available in my comprehensive Terms & Conditions.

Client Responsibilities:

Your active participation is key! This typically includes providing necessary content (text, images, brand assets), clear feedback, and approvals in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule as per the agreed delivery timelines.

Intellectual Property:

Upon full and final payment for the project, you (the Client) will own the copyright to the final, custom-designed and custom-coded website/deliverables that I create specifically for you. I retain the right to showcase the work in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any pre-existing materials, third-party assets, or my underlying code/methodologies remain my property or that of their respective owners.

Scope & Revisions:

The agreed-upon project scope and the number of revision rounds included are detailed in your chosen service tier or custom proposal. Additional work or revisions beyond this scope may be subject to additional charges, which will always be discussed and agreed upon with you first.

Support Periods:

Post-launch support (for bug fixes or minor clarifications related to the original scope) is included for a defined period with certain Web Development tiers (e.g., 'Growth Site,' 'Pro Business Site'), as specified in the tier details. Ongoing support and maintenance are available through my dedicated support packages.

Cancellation:

Details regarding project cancellation by either party, and any applicable fees or refunds, are outlined in the full Terms & Conditions.

Confidentiality:

I am committed to maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive business information you share with me during our engagement.

For complete details, please review my full Terms & Conditions Page.

By initiating a project with Dev With Dijah, you agree to these summary terms and the full Terms & Conditions.

Your Pricing Questions, Answered

How is your project pricing determined?

I offer a mix of fixed-price Service Tiers for common project needs (like the 'Starter Site,' 'Growth Site,' or 'UI/UX Essentials'), which have clearly defined features and deliverables. For projects with more unique or extensive requirements that fall outside these tiers, or for most Add-Ons, I provide a Custom Quote after a detailed discussion to understand your specific needs and project scope.

What payment structure do you use?

For most project-based work (especially 'Growth Site,' 'Pro Business Site,' 'UI/UX Standard,' and 'UI/UX Premium' tiers, or custom-quoted work), I typically require an initial deposit (usually 30-50%) to begin. The remaining payments are tied to clearly defined project milestones. Monthly support retainers ('Ad-Hoc Assist,' 'Growth Retainer,' 'Proactive Care') are billed in advance for the upcoming service period. All payment details will be clearly outlined in your project proposal or service agreement.

What currencies do you accept?

I accept payments in Nigerian Naira (NGN) for clients based in Nigeria. For international clients, I primarily invoice in US Dollars (USD) and can also accommodate payments in Euros (EUR). You can view indicative prices in these currencies on my website using the currency selector.

Are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?

Absolutely not. I believe in complete transparency. The price quoted for a service tier or a custom project covers my services and typical payment processing overhead. Any potential additional costs (e.g., for third-party services like premium themes/plugins if requested by you, stock photography, or work requested beyond the agreed scope) will always be discussed and approved by you before any charges are incurred.

Which Web Development tier is right for me?

The Starter Site is perfect if you need a simple, professional online presence quickly (e.g., a 1-3 page site).

Choose the Growth Site if you're a startup or small business looking for a more dynamic website (3-6 pages) with a Content Management System (CMS) for easy updates, and perhaps a blog.

Opt for the Pro Business Site if you need more pages (up to 10), greater customization, specific integrations (like newsletter signups), or lead generation features.

If you're still unsure, feel free to contact me for a free consultation!

What if I need something not listed in your tiers or add-ons?

I love working on unique projects! Please contact me with details about your specific requirements. I'm happy to discuss custom solutions and provide a tailored quote.

How are add-ons priced?

Add-ons are designed to provide extra functionality as you need it. Some simple add-ons have indicative "starting at" prices listed on my detailed service breakdown. For most add-ons, or those requiring significant customization, I will provide a clear, transparent quote based on your specific requirements before any work begins.

Need a Custom Solution?

Don't see a perfect fit? I specialize in tailoring solutions to unique business needs. Let's discuss your project!
